Life coaching has become popular in recent years as it has proven to successfully allow people to enjoy more of what they want and less of what they don’t want in their lives. Unlike counseling, mentoring or therapy, life coaching is not so much about understanding one’s patterns and past as it is about finding the leverage point that will allow you to create the desired results in your life. And because we are systemic beings, making one change in one area of our lives often has widespread implications on the rest of our lives – for instance, an increased ability to speak in public will almost certainly improve a person’s general social skills. Additionally, unlike other modalities, coaching is an advice–free zone where the client’s agenda is THE agenda, and as such tends to allow people to come to their own conclusions and hence feel powerfully called into action. |
